Corey Cameron
We are pleased to announce a few position changes within the
North American Trans network. Cory Cameron, Manager
of Spokane, WA will be moving back to Arkansas to assume the
management role in the Fayetteville office. Cory is a native
of Arkansas and he and his wife Theresa are looking forward
to being back near family and friends.
Cory started in the Jackson Mississippi office 15 years ago,
worked in the Little Rock office and later held a leadership
role in Ft. Worth. Cory has led high growth at all of his
positions including his time as the manager of our Spokane
office where he has been for the last three years.
Cory has a strong team with lots of momentum in Spokane and
he will be spending time in both offices as we fill the open
management position there. Our team in Fayetteville is also
very talented and they are as excited as we are about the
combination of experience and skills Cory will bring to his
new role!
Thanks,
The Transportation Leadership Team

Please allow me to share with you a little bit of background
information about myself. Due to the Vietnam War in the
early 60’s I joined the military and had to drop out of ASTC
and never came back to school. I married Gail Wilson in
August, 1966 and went to work for First National Bank,
Searcy, Arkansas in September, 1967. I was able to
attended, and graduated, in 1976 from the Graduate School of
Banking of the South at LSU while employed at First National
Bank. In 1984 I changed jobs and went to work with Citizens

Citizens State Bank and serve as the bank’s Executive Vice
President and also serve on the bank’s board of directors as

my self to be a very blessed man. Gail and I have a 39 year
old son, Jason, who lives in Pocahontas, Arkansas with his
wife Sheila. We have a 37 year old daughter, Jennifer
(Jenny) Ellis, who lives in Conway, Arkansas with her
husband John and our three grandchildren, Grant, Lauren and
Addi Ellis.
I hope some, or all, of this information is helpful to you.
Please feel free to give me a call or e-mail me if I can be
of help to you in any way. My work phone is 501.724. and my

The Alumni Association would like to send out a big thank
you to Bill Stovall for the $50 contribution
to the scholarship fund. Bill happened to be at
Gusano's in Little Rock before the last alumni meeting and
Mike Waters mentioned the alumni scholarship fund.
Bill remembered his days as an out of money college student
and made a donation on the spot. For those of you
wondering why this is special, Bill isn't a Phi Sig. |

Update
on 'chippin for Chuck' golf tournament
Kristin Cummings would like to thank everyone involved in the
charity golf tournament, below is the most recent update on Chuck
and the golf tournament. See pictures of the
event here.
Oh my goodness…
how do I even begin!? What a great day!!!!!!!
First and
foremost.. Liz..oh my goodness… what an amazing feat you pulled
off. Thank you especially
to you and to all the volunteers-Jackie, Anne, Jack, Jerry,
Stacie, Mark, Tracy, Gwen, Jean, Holly, Amanda, Shannon, Delaney,
Leah, Tina, Jamie, Alan, Metreece, Cathy, anyone I missed- who put
this all together. It was a great event and SO much fun. It was
especially wonderful to see so many of our friends, colleagues and
family come together and have such a great time.
Chuck and I both
were truly blown away and very touched by all the support and well
wishers Friday. I hope we were able to get around and speak to
most of you or at least wave.
J
I think we were just so speechless at the turn out and we thank
each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts.
This experience
has taught both of us a lot but it has truly restored my faith in
the good nature of people and we are blessed and extremely
fortunate to know all of you and we will pay it forward and hope
to be able to help any of you out in the same way you have helped
us if ever needed some day. You have not only lent your time (and
spent your money
J
) but it was a huge emotional boost for us and we can never really
express how grateful we are.
Treatment #6 is
today and hopefully/maybe the last one.. Keep your fingers
crossed!!!!!!
Thank you again
and God Bless!!!!

Does
anyone recognize this guy? This is Wade Finley's son.
Wade passed away a few years ago, but some alumni are staying in
touch with his family.
The photo on the left was taken of Wade III at Greers Ferry lake
and made Rural Arkansas magazine. This is the second time they
have featured one of his photo's in the magazine.
