Alumni Scholarship
The Phi Sigma Epsilon/Phi Sigma Kappa Alumni
Scholarship has been established by Phi Sig Alumni from the
University of Central Arkansas. The $500 scholarship will
be awarded each semester to a deserving student who meets
the qualifications established by the scholarship
committee.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are limited to active members of
Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Central Arkansas.
Criteria for Selection
Scholarships will be awarded to an active
member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity based on any of the
following criteria. If you are a current Phi Sig and
meet any of the following criteria, you are welcome to
submit an application.
1.
Financial Need
2.
Minimum GPA of 2.5
3.
Minimum of 12 hours of college
credit
4.
Current full time student at
UCA
5.
Descendant of a UCA Phi Sig
6.
University involvement
7.
Community involvement
8.
Honors, awards, extracurricular
activities
Selection Process
The scholarship committee will review
all applications returned prior to the deadline. After an
initial review, the scholarship committee will select
finalists who will be required to submit an essay and
complete an interview. The scholarship will be presented to
the selected student upon registration. If, in the opinion
of the scholarship committee, no applicant meets all the
criteria, a recipient will not be selected.
